Anonymity is set per survey, not per system. Two surveys are open for
Alex right now. One is anonymous and one carries his name, and the difference
is stated on the card before he answers — not buried in a policy page he will
never read.
How we are doing
AnonymousQuarterly · closes 28 Aug 2026
Anonymous — responses are never linked to you
Your name is not stored with this answer. Not hidden on the screen —
not stored. There is no column to join it back to you and no admin view
that can undo that.
How likely are you to recommend Wilkinson Electric as a place to work?
0 · not at all likely

This one goes to Riley Ohm with your name on it
Deliberately. Your foreman cannot restock your van without knowing
whose van it is. You are told which kind of survey this is before you answer,
every time.
The rule behind both cards
The flag is on the survey, not on the system
You do not choose “an anonymous product” or “an attributed product”. Each survey carries its own setting, and both kinds live side by side.
Storing your name and hiding it is not anonymity
For an anonymous survey the respondent is never written down in the first place. A screen that merely declines to display it is one query away from a broken promise.
Which means the two cannot be one table with a checkbox
Attributable and non-attributable responses have to sit together and behave differently. That is a schema decision made once, at the start — not a setting somebody flips later.
Anonymity cannot be changed after the fact
An anonymous survey cannot be converted to an attributed one afterwards, because the identity was never captured. That is the promise working, not a missing feature.
Open — and we would rather ask than assume.
- Results hide for groups under five. A common rule, and with crews of three or four it decides whether an anonymous survey is anonymous in practice. We have not set it. Being confirmed with you.
- Who may create a survey and set its anonymity flag.
- Whether a foreman sees only their own crew’s results, their division’s, or everyone’s.
- Cadence — how often eNPS runs, and who it goes to.
What this screen teaches. “Anonymous survey” sounds like a display
preference and is actually a data-model commitment. Deciding it per survey,
at the start, is what lets one product serve an eNPS that must never be traced
and a truck-stock check that is useless unless it is.
